Please ensure you bring all documentation, i.e. Referral letters, Scans, X Rays, MRI’s or other relevant documents to your appointment.
If you are visiting because of a Work Cover or other insurance claim? If so please provide details including: Name of Insurer , Claim numbers and Case Manager (if applicable).
It would be advisable to call 1 hour prior to your appointment to minimise waiting times.
All Payments must be made on the day of your Visit.
After your consultation with Dr Summersell the Practice Manager will set a date of admission for any surgery if it is required.
Please contact the hospital administration office two days prior to your surgery for admission times, fasting instructions and other general information.

Post Hospital & Recovery
After your surgery the attending hospital will book your post surgery follow up appointment with Dr Summersell. Please check your discharge paperwork for details. It would be advisable to confirm your appointment as soon as possible as appointment waiting times may vary.
You will be given instructions upon being discharged from hospital. It is important to follow these instructions.
If you are experiencing any adnormal pain please contact our office, your local GP or Hospital. If after hours please contact the Coffs Harbour Health Campus.
